I’m Darren Council — Army veteran, real estate investor, husband, father of three, and the founder of Young Kings Rising. For over 18 years I’ve been in the business of building people. Not because I had a perfect example growing up — but because I didn’t, and I went looking for the tools anyway.
The Army taught me discipline isn’t optional — it’s the foundation everything else is built on. When I left the service I didn’t have a roadmap, but I had a standard. That standard drove every decision after.
My wife and I stumbled into real estate with no mentor and no background. We figured it out because we refused to stop. Today we own rental properties that generate passive income — and I teach others how to do the same.
The reason I started Young Kings Rising is simple: I kept seeing young men who were capable but directionless. They didn’t need motivation. They needed a framework. That’s what YKR gives them.
